Spain, Egypt and Mexico seem to be the most popular destinations around here right now.

Well, Spain has this weird thing whereby tourists can move around and locals can't. This has unsurprisingly caused some resentment within the later group.

The national newspaper Helsingin Sanomat has interviewed Finnair's Chief of Communications, Päivyt Tallqvist. She mentioned that ALC will return in May. Also CHQ and TLV are in the pipeline for being relaunched. AGP will see added flights. The article also mentions the return of aircraft from storage at PRG and southern France.

(I must say I was impressed that I did remember correct the IATA airport code CHQ. There's so many fricking Greek airports, that I get lost at times.)

Would anyone have any insight info on CHQ flights? AY is to start flights mid-May, but AM packages are sold 01JUN onwards. Will AY really be flying to CHQ in May? Any educated guesses?

AY just cancelled flights in June21.

HND and PUS postponed to July. LAX planned from 15JUN21

Updated 21.04.2021
We have adjusted our traffic plan for spring and summer 2021. We will fly less than originally planned and a number of flights between April and June will be cancelled. We are extremely sorry about the harm and uncertainty this situation causes you.

Singapore flights have all been cancelled. When does AY let the Plat help desk know this? I asked them to refund my June flight yesterday and they said:

At the moment there are no information in booking about flights being cancelled. So at the moment we cannot promise full refund from this booking. If there is some cancellation happening to this booking, we will inform the passengers via email or SMS.

Interesting. Those returns are still not loaded in the system. Do they keep a plane sitting on the ground for a day to be able to fly both legs with the same crew?
