Geneva is not on the list for summer destinations, yet their booking engine says they fly there from 2.7. onwards and flights are open for sale.
Any idea what this might mean?

Dont know but they just axed the June flights last week. Surely hope they will keep to the plan of starting the flights 02JUL since I would most likely need them in Aug...

JFK. However I'm ready to bet against either of them operating.

JFK is operating as we speak. If there's any flight to the US, it will be JFK. I'd say if it's operating now, it will be operating in September, as well.

Flights to Portugal

Hi,
I have noticed Finnair will be launching flights to OPO and LIS late in June. I know this is all subject to change but, if AY decides to cancel the flights, how much notice would they give? (Or by when should we know if they are really going ahead with these flights). Thanks!

OPO and LIS, in my opinion, would be very unlikely. If one of them were to happen, it would be LIS. OPO is not on AY's list of Summer 2021 flights. Both destinations were mostly relying on Chinese pax before covid.

AY will cancel more than 14 days before your flights.

OPO was added to the list last week.

Greece and Portugal are opening their travel. This summer we fly to Heraklion, Rhodes, Chania and Santorini in Greece. In Portugal, our destinations are Porto, Lisbon and Madeira. The flights are available on our website. https://finnair.com/fi-en

OPO Starting on 02JUL21, 2 flights per week

Looks like fewer flights to be operated as previously planned.

It seems that the A359 to LHR is back. Just got an email that our 2pm flight is cancelled and are rebooked to the 4pm flight and it looks as a A359

At least statistically, Portugal is doing great, so perhaps AY counts on that. Let's hope those flights stick!

Last summer AM started a little this and that, but then cancelled mostly everything at very short notice. This summer, they seem to have more courage.
