I just booked HEL-BCN a few days ago and it was still AY metal then but looks like it just changed. Also used vouchers to upgrade. How does this change to IB affect it? Better or worse service in J?

Also noticed another change. My return from OPO has changed from A319 to E190. That’s a bummer for an over 4 hour flight. That flight is still AY. No upgrade availability so waitlisted.

On long haul I find them decent, SH is a different story.

Luckily I speak Spanish so I get very friendly service, but I've witnessed English speakers get beyond unacceptable treatment.

What I would do if I had to fly IB (avoiding them at all cost now) is order their white Rioja and nuts and then ignore anything else. The food is abysmal (especially the SPML) and who drinks cava anyway?

Fortunately ATR-72 does not have that kind of range.

No worries. There will be a refueling stop at LUX. "Our customers have expressed their wish to be able to stretch out more during flights, so we are glad to announce that all our ATR flights to southern Europe will feature a resting stop of 45 min at a major European gateway airport."

I would love this. Just make it 2h and have a proper lunch service at a nice lounge.

Paris aircrafts

Hi,
I have noticed Finnair is using E190s (Norra operated) for flights to Paris, although in some days it seems they are also operating A319. If there is an aircraft change / Finnair decides to upgrade the flights to the A319, how much notice would they give to pax / update the info online? Thanks

My OPO-HEL was changed from A319 to E190 and got no notice from Finnair about it. Just noticed it when looking at flights in the app. No idea how long after their decission it changed.

HEL-BCN changed to operated by Iberia but that I got email about a couple of days after the news about Finnair is leasing planes from Iberia and after it had already changed in the app

Here we go again. AY is apparently going through November schedules, and today, I received emails about my DXB cancellations. It appears that the only flight left is the night flight, rescheduled to depart HEL 23:30, arriving into DXB at 8:30. Three weeklies.

However, it should be operated by an A350. But the flight time is 7 hours for HEL-DXB and 7:50 for DXB-HEL.

What is going on here?
