HND zeroed until 27.3.2022.
Got notification tonight, changed to NRT outbound still on HND inbound.
Don't know if this is a new cancellation or did I just get the notice now.

November? I already got my December BER flights cancelled/rebooked (not that I seriously thought that they'd be operating 4 dailies in December to BER)

EDIT: I see your post was in Aug, so they roll ahead

Wow that was unexpected! It seems Finnair doesn't like competition, as it looks like they try to codeshare with almost everyone that flies to Helsinki. And alliances don't matter at all. I understand AY has now their code on at least TK, SU, FI, TP and CA flights to HEL. And just recently there used to be even more like AF and OK.

I wonder if you can still use a lounge at IST when flying AY codeshare? Or if you get for example an extra bag as AY tier member on AY codeshare?

If it works like with TP, then yes.

Could someone please explain what this means in terms of achieving a status, getting entry to a lounge etc. For example if I fly turkish from HEL, can I go to finnair lounge?

Yes you get AY points and also lounge access as long as your ticket is AY coded. If you bought TK coded ticket, you get nothing from AY.

And in all hypocrisy, in a Helsingin Sanomat article published today AY justifies axing these routes because of their high CO2 emissions, not because of the poor business case.

You may be allowed to AY lounges as AY+ top tier member, but OWEs would not have any access. For TK lounges, all would depend on a specific agreement between AY and TK, but nothing is guaranteed just based on AY coded flight for AY tier holders. The flight is not operated by a oneworld carrier after all.
