What is up with AY's website having a pop-up dialog counting down and saying "Hang tight ... We're working on your request. If you run into any problems, please refresh the page and try again."
I'm not even into a booking frenzy but this happens when logging in, trying to check prices on flights at random times.

Another AY IT glitch. I can't check into my HEL-KIX flight for tomorrow. It won't get past the "payment" screen for the seat selection, even though there is no payment due. Chat was unable to fix it either.

This is via the website, the app won't even load my flight. It shows in my trips, but won't actually load.

Sounds like the bug where they lose track of FF-status. Remove/Add your FF number again to booking, reselect seats and see if it works

I think it is something along those lines. My AY FF number isn't there, but trying to add it also causes an error.

EDIT: It's an award booking if that matters at all.

EDIT 2: WhatsApp agent was able to add the FF and I'm now checked in. Thanks for the tip!

(Sad to know this issue is still around - I did spend some time trying to get them to do something about it, but they simply refused to even admit there is a problem)

Finnair app or Finnair Visa app? The Visa app has been slow the last days. However, haven't noticed anything special with Finnair app on Ios.

When has AY update their Webpage? When you are going to the AY+ earnings page it still states that Fiji Airways doesn't earn anything and there is still the information with the old AY earnings. It is past a year now and I think there aren't any flights with the old earnings. Since Monday Fiji Airways is now a full member of Oneworld.

Seating höpöhöpö continues. My carefully picked 8L has somehow become 8A, and the seat map still shows 8L available, but I cannot choose it. Or I can, but it does not stick. :mad: OLCI opens tomorrow. Let's see what happens then.

Exactly the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Before OLCI opened 8L was taken so I was unable to move back.

I got my seat back using the English chat (for the first time), took 9 minutes.

And now I ran into the next problem. OLCI does not go through. It asks me to check my ESTA status (which I did, and it shows Authorization Approved). Is this common?

I'll to go the airport now and see if I can get a BP. The flight is tomorrow. SSSS would be good news, better than an ESTA problem or an anticipated cxl of the flight tomorrow.

Quite a long queue at the airport, but helpful agent. It was a first name / middle name problem and had nothing to do with my ESTA. I wish their IT did not put out false warnings. So now I have a BP, seat 8L. Hopefully the flight will operate tomorrow.

And it will not. And to get a reroute in J took some adamance as AY apparently has a policy of rerouting award tickets (this was not an upgrade, but a J award) in Y on flights not operated by AY.
