So, codeshares now earn based on spend, but AY IT still shows "Collect Avios" without any estimate for flights that include codeshares :rolleyes:

I recently selected meals for a flight in a couple of weeks and immediately afterwards, I couldn't get back into the meal selection option. The next day the reservation disappeared from My Bookings using a desktop, but I could still pull it up in the app and using Royal Air Maroc. I thought I'd try again today and now I can't pull it up using Royal Air Maroc, so I called customer service to see if everything is okay. As I'm on hold, I exited the reservation on the app, and it's now gone from the app. I've been on hold already for 30 mins - not a good day to call CS!

Following up on the above, I finally reached Plat CS and they couldn't find the booking reference so I gave them our ticket numbers and flight details. The agent put me on hold then asked to call me back while they worked with the "other department".

When they called back, they said the reservation had been cancelled but they couldn't determine (or tell me) how it was cancelled. I told them it wasnt me, as I didn't have an option to cancel in MMB, just a message to call CS if I wanted to make changes to the trip. Somehow the reservation cancelled itself sometime after we made our meal selections. CS was not forthcoming at all about what happened even after I pressed for details.

Tickets were reissued using the original ticket numbers but a new booking reference code. We lost our seat assignments. The original seats are still occupied (all 10 some of which are Plat only so likely not new pax) so we can't get them back. I've set up expert flyer seat notifications just in case they open back up before checkin in a couple of weeks.

I'm hoping this is resolved but would feel better knowing what happened.

Kudos to AY for honouring the reservation. Countless more or less simlar cases with other airlines end up leading to pax paying a fortune at the airport for a new ticket.

Agreed, all things considered this was a good outcome. I am so lucky to have caught this in advance and to have access to Plat CS to fix.

I'm 99% certain the original booking reference is still holding our original seats - but I also assume if we're double booked on a flight, that would create some sort of error or alert?

The new online check-in (both via website and app) seems to be completely broken at least for now and for me. I cannot, for the life of me, no matter what I try, get further than step two in the process. Why oh why did they have to "fix" something that was not broken in the first place...

Has anyone of you seen this issue and any problems expected at OLCI?

I have an upcoming JFK-HEL-XXX. JFK-HEL upgrade cleared some time ago. At the same time HEL-XXX leg disappeared from Finnair app (iOS) trip details but is still normally visible via MMB (PC). I can change seats etc. via MMB for that particular leg. My journeys front page in the app is also correctly showing New York - XXX. I asked this from PlatsApp but they were not able to fix this issue in the app. I guess not the big deal but asking just in case... Thx

I've had this happen. Same thing, after an upgrade cleared.

Circling back on the issue I posted about upthread. It turns out my original reservation was intact as it re-appeared in My Trips yesterday in addition to the new reservation. I called CS and they could see the original reservation and didn't see any indication that it was ever cancelled. CS spent 30 minutes or so with the other department who cancelled the new reservation and re-assigned the same ticket numbers back to the original reservation. They said they didn't have an explanation why the original reservation temporarily disappeared for both me and CS, but they are hopeful that re-issuing the ticket should keep the reservation okay until we travel in a couple of weeks. This CS agent was highly apologetic unlike the one I previously worked with who I think thought I did something to mess up the original reservation.

On the bookings in the app, AY 132 on the day before yesterday has appeared. I haven't had such a booking. I can see a booking reference in the app, but can't access the reservation on the web site (probably doesn't match my name).

AY seems to want to go with creating more AI agents using Salesforce's Agentforce. <sarcasm> So be scared, the next interaction with AY IT might be the handled by an AI agent! </sarcasm>
I just hope that the LLM AI agents don't go vibe-booking away my already booked flights. :D

AY seems to have dropped at least XTZ from a lookup table

On the website I can see at least my destination, while in the app items is also missing in the overview bookings containing XTZ.
