CaptainEK Airbus

Would you also be able to tell us the configuration of the B777s delivered recently (A6-EGE to A6-EGI)?

Our resident source of information has gone quiet. ;)

Well, I am not Captain Airbus, but I think I can help you:

At the moment EK has 17 380s in the fleet:
A6-EDA through A6-EDE with crew rest quarters (5 aircraft)
A6-EDF through A6-EDL without crew rest quarters (7 aircraft)
A6-EDM through A6-EDP with crew rest quarters (4 aircraft)
A6-EDQ without crew rest quarters (1 aircraft)

Therefore totals so far are 9 aircraft with crew rests, and 8 without them. But Emirates website also shows A6-EDR and A6-EDS as also coming with crew rests, so I guess those are the aircraft for KUL, and LHR.

Thanks
CaptainEK Airbus

I might be wrong; but I think A6-EDR/S/T will be without crew rest quarters!

Thanks - so Suites, Lie-Flats and New Weber seats then.

All ICE Digital Widescreen?

With or without Crew Rest Area?

Suites, new J and new Y are big standard on all 777s now. The only question is crew rest. I think it was the older aircraft that used up the last few rows of Y for the staircase to the crew rest. Bit fuzzy about whether that's still the case - because Y would have fewer seats then.

I think A6-EGG is 8F/42J/310Y with no crew rest. All others are
8F/42J/304Y with crew rest. Certainly EGG hasn't appeared on
any of the US or non-stop Australia flights.

This according to the theeksource.com website that popped up yesterday.

Emirates now operates EK staffed offices (not GSA's) in Santiago de Chile, Lima, Montevideo, Belgrade, Budapest, Mombassa and Dzauodzi (Mayotte). It also set up call centres in Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki.

Maybe a sign of new destinations coming online?

N830MH Nov 25, 2011 5:08 pm

EK #18 A380 is accept delivery today and the registration number is A6-EDR. Later this month if #19 A380 (A6-EDS) will delivery and 1 more A380 (A6-EDT) will delivery in December, too.
