Especially it took me over an hour to go through the changes route by route, month by month. Seriously I'm thinking to throw in the "no copy/no right mouse click" html script when I do the next major upgrade for the website.

Apologies, an oversight. Rectified now.

It seems to me that 330s are being pulled out of Europe (except NCL--when will that happen). Are they being withdrawn from service, or reallocated to short haul?

PRG is also an A330 destination in Europe!
PRG will be upgraded to 777/200ER next year....

Two frames left already the fleet:
A6-EAB and A6-EAC

Is that EK#17 A380 is already landed in DXB yet? Is that confirming EK#17 A380 is accept delivery? Haven't you see A6-EDQ yet?

It has now been to Jeddah and back and is currently en-route to HKG. Potentially worrying is that it had a 3 hour delay in BKK - I hope it wasn't anything technical.

Have just arrived back into BKK on this aircraft... A problem with the cargo door caused the delay... Great new plane to fly!

For those interested... A6-EGI completed her first flight yesterday (31/10/11).

Cheers,

I see that Scotland's First Minister is in Dubai on a visit and will discuss expanding air links with the UAE with executives from Emirates Airline & Group. See the 2nd last paragraph http://www.scotland.gov.uk/News/Rele...11/10/25151929

Thanks for that. Us Scots could deffo do with a 2nd flight. A 2nd departure from the current airport (Glasgow) would be very helpful - very handy for onward connections to the far east. Although there are immediate connections onward to Shanghai / HK - they are usually fully booked and/or a huge premium to get on them flights.

Would be ideal to get a 2nd flight which leaves at around 8pm'ish.

Edinburgh wouldn't be a bad option either but meh... Glasgow is much closer to me :D

The fact that BAA is in the process of selling Edinburgh could be a factor. I would imagine that the new owners would be very keen to take some of the international traffic from Glasgow but then also BAA will be doing everything they can to retain which could result in favourable terms to Emirates for a second flight.

Also, given ADIA bought into Gatwick when it was sold by BAA, speculatively if they did likewise to Edinburgh, surely this would be the catalyst for Etihad's arrival to Scotland? All if's and but's of course!

According to Emirates management some aircraft from the Airbus fleet will be removed from service starting FEB 2012, and due to the inbalance of pilots are asking for some Airbus pilots to move to the Boeing.

Thanks

Next USA destination

Emirates is advertising for a sales executive based in Minneapolis/St.Paul. Maybe the 3rd USA destination to be announced for 2012?

That should be two more 332 airframes destined to Virgin Australia for starters.
