EK have made 4 of 5 LHR flights A380 from 25th March. Everything except EK 7/8 which remains 773.

Sorry if already been announced, couldn't see it.

In all seriousness, I do wonder what that make EK in terms of UK uplift - our 2nd/3rd or 4th biggest international carrier? Have they overtaken bmi in terms of passenger numbers yet? I don't know, am purely wondering.

I think something is wrong here!

EK fly to LHR at the moment twice daily with the A380
EK 1/2 and EK 3/4.

Starting march 25th EK 29/30 with A380.

So, I guess that`s all.....AFAIK; EK 5/6 and EK 7/8 will stay with 777.
May be later; all flights to LHR will get the A380!

Wow, That is over 2250 Seats a day just out of Heathrow, 3000 nearly if you include Gatwick :O
Is there that much demand in London?
Some of the flights don't even connect to Australasia flights!

My mid feb HKG-DXB flight (EK 381) has just been changed to an A380. I almost considered flying via BKK to get this bird. Glad I didn't!

Can i ask a question about the EK29 A380 flight to see if anyone knows the answer?

I wanted to change my flight leaving 1 May 2012 from EK1 to EK29 as i noticed on expertflyer there are currently upgrade seats available on the EK29.

When I phoned Emirates reservations, they told me there was no availability on the EK29 flight. But, I can easily do a dummy booking on emirates.com to book that exact flight, AND when i check Expert Flyer for availability it says EK29 has seats in every class available.

Does anyone know if Emirates have some kind of policy (or weird computer glitch) where they can not alter a booking to change a flight until it is up and running in its new schedule? I was thinking maybe because the EK29 flight is changing to the A380, Emirates won't allow me to change to the flight until the schedule starts on 24 January 2012.

If anyone can confirm please let me know. Thanks in advance! :)

EK380/381 DXB HKG A380 operation is being "reviewed" month-by-month as it is still waiting to get Daily slots to PVG (For A380)

From June 1. 2012 the second daily flight between DXB and DUS (EK 57/58) will change from A330/A340 to B777.

Yup, you're exactly right! They accept delivery EK#20 A380 today. They should be in DXB shortly.

Do you expect they will keep 4 daily A380s to LHR after the Olympics ? I wonder that they do not yet fly with the A380 to cities like Frankfurt or Melbourne etc. MEL will have reduced capacity when SQ will send their A380s to Fra instead of Mel from mid January.
