EK to announce the A380 to NRT & MEL
 

Hi All,

I heard EK will planned to put on entire A380 service to NRT. There is no specific date to be set yet.

Other news EK will planned to announce the A380 service from DXB-MEL-AKL. It will goes on effective from October 2012. It will become A380 service with the FLT# EK406/EK407.

Bugga was truly hoping it would be on the 406/407 route by April, oh well 777 it is for our trip

New departure time for EK247/248 to and from Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires
 

Emirates flights EK247/248 to and from Rio de Janeiro- Buenos Aires will be rescheduled from 3rd January to 6th January 2012 due to the closure of the Rio de Janeiro International Airport runway for maintenance.

Emirates’ flight 247 that was scheduled to depart for Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires at 07:10 will depart Dubai at 08:40 local time. Emirates return flight EK248 scheduled to depart Buenos Aires at 21:30 will depart at 23:00 and arrive in Dubai at 00:20.

Any changes to new routes list?

Is IAD being considered at all :D

... and any sign of the second daily GLA ?

Nothing big, just some minor aircraft, 1 more A340-300 going.

Hopefully soon. If i'm not mistaken, its usually a time-frame of six months before a 2nd would get added right?... or could they come out from no where saying "from next week or next month, a 2nd daily will be added to GLA"

According to Reply. #37 based on the AMS slot EK can go 2x Daily from 01 Jul, and upgrade the current flight to A388 from 01 Aug.

EK011/012 DXB-LGW will get a 3-class Boeing 777-300 with First Class from 28th October 2012 replacing the B777-200ER.
(airlineroute mentioned it with a B777-300ER but EK timetable says it's a B777-300)

Maybe the B777-300 is the one from EK007/008 DXB-LHR? LHR to go 5 daily A380 by 28th October 2012?

Nothing official for second daily DXB-GLA yet. But, not yet.

No news route lately. Maybe in 2012.

Where did you find out? Is EK will upgrade the equipped from 777 to A380? I believe AMS will have install a double dual jetbridge for an A380. They have to start constructed a wider gate space.

It is according to post 37 on the thread on airliners.net I posted the link to.

Now, I can see it. So...EK will planned to bring A380 into AMS sometime in August 1, 2012. But, thanks for your efforts and I didn't realize know that. When they will accept delivery the A380 later in Summer 2012.
