I will post any info I get, as I'm sure most people reading this thread are interested in any type of official information, and slot information is an official source. This is a forum, not the Emirates official website. In future when I get slot information, I will headline the topic accordingly in order to not 'confuse' anyone.

Yep, you're exactly right! I just lookup on 777 production site. They accept delivery today. It should be in DXB sometime tomorrow evening.

At last! Given Y will now have reduced capacity and that it is normally full, persumably there will be an announcement of a 2nd daily flight imminently

Just to point out a 2nd daily hasn't yet been added/confirmed. Its likely it will happen, but, no indication of when.

...and could equally go to EDI. Was rumours however of a GLA 2nd flight already being slotted for an evening departure on an A340. Anyone have any updates ?

GLA to be served by 3-class 777-300ER, featuring Suites Class (P), not F.

EK805/806 DXB-JED from 25th March 2012 daily A380 (now 5 weekly A380 + 2 weekly A343). In total DXB-JED double daily A380.
