For Mothers' Day:

Queso dip with tortilla chips, grilled zucchini, grilled tequila-lime chicken breasts, baked sweet potatos with butter and cinnamon. For dessert: hot chocolate pudding over vanilla bean ice cream. Vodka Collins's for the over 21 crowd.

Currently stuffed to the max and ready for bed.

brisket with shallots and carrots, rustic mashed potatoes and the obligatory few glasses of red (it's Sunday night and red wine goes well with the Soprano's)

My wife loves salmon. So for Mother's Day it was grilled salmon, twice-baked potatoes, and asparagus.

The grocery deli did the twice-baking, I did the reheating.

How you spell asparagus is another matter.

Pakura samosas with mint chutney, and fresh strawberries for dessert (which were some of the best strawberries I've had in ages).

Whole Chicken (done beer can style) and baby-back ribs smoked over keawe charcoal and hickory chunks, basted with my smoky-style-with-a-hint-of-plum-sauce barbecue sauce.

Mrs. cblaisd's homemade focaccia

Mrs. cblaisd's homemade from-scratch chocolate cream pie.

Mixed green salad

Two different kinds of banana from neighbors' yards.

Kona coffee.

Thurs
Tripe Stew

last night
home made pizza
brownies (fresh)
salad with fresh mozerella, tomatoes, mushrooms

tonight
pretzels

tomorrow
Organic New Zealand lamb chops marrinated in a rosmary garlic sauce on a bed of pasta with prawns. Starter of salad mix with fresh mozerella, tomatoes. Also escargot.

I also still got a frozen pizza I can warm up, but the oven is too far away from my comfy computer chair.

One of these days I got to make my awsome stuffed mushrooms. Yum!
