I ate a spiced chicken thigh (marinated with olive oil, cilantro, onion, pepper and red pepper), sauteed spinach and Israeli cous cous.

My pork cutlet dinner experience that relates somewhat to my experiences in this thread.

Enjoyed some "fancy" pork cutlets with the meat being sourced from a region in a specific way rendering it more tender, fatty and very clean. As folks on this thread probably know, meats in Japan are generally sliced up into little bite sized pieces with the middle turned up to show how it's been cooked "perfectly." So, when it was slightly pink, not medium but more along the lines of medium well. If it hadn't for this thread on how it's actually ok to eat some pork that isn't well done, I'd have been a little concerned.

Anyway, it was fantastic! To each his/her own, but I'm just not into dry meats, unless it's some kind of jerky or something.
