Marinated (plum sauce, soy sauce, sugar) charcoal grilled sockeye salmon; grilled asparagus, toasted leftover cornbread muffins, milk, plain M&Ms :)

Decided to use up some leftover eggs in the fridge and make an omelette for dinner. I threw in some serano pepper, cilantro, chopped onion and a three cheese blend. The omelette was topped with salsa and was quite good.

This might be the first time I’ve seen a persimmon outside the produce department.
There are two varieties ....be very careful if you want to eat the other kind (hachiya) as unless they are fully & perfectly ripe they will produce an astringent taste in your mouth that you will never forget. Persimmons are very healthy. |

My kids get to pick dinner for their bday - anything, including restaurants to home made. For her 6th, my daughter wanted my pasta.
Home made San Marzano sauce, Akaushi wagyu meatballs, meat artisan heritage pork, 48 mo parmigiana reggiano.
