Dinner with a view (walked in and received the best table, according to staff, and I'm inclined to agree) at Tandoor Grill in Berjaya Central Park next to the Ritz-Carlton Residences tower in Kuala Lumpur. What a lovely view of Menara KL and Merdeka 118! The butter chicken was spicy and went very well with the garlic cheese naan!

I will take that flank steak over almost anything. What do you mean reconstituted hash browns...frozen?

Yes, I couldn't think of the brand name when I posted.
My recipe for the steak calls for marinading for four hours. It was about 5 1/2 and was particularly flavorful.

Dinner last night was at Heritage Pizza KL in Kuala Lumpur - this came highly ranked on Google Maps and recommended by the hotel manager at the Westin. It's nice to have pork in Malaysia, and the pizza was generally good - however, I found it to be a bit too saucy. Perhaps, I should have ordered the cinque formaggi with "secret cheese."
I'll probably return to Tandoor Grill tomorrow - they were closed on Tuesdays.

I love pizza so much. I even love Costco pizza when eaten at Costco.
tuesday:
mitzvah catering leftovers
trout and mac & cheese on same plate (sounds gross and its yummy)
fried chicken
Wednesday:
sushi ran, Sausalito CA:
seaweed salad
lobster & roe chiwanmishu custard
sushi rolls
tamago nigiri
dessert - warm ginger cake & ice cream
