Sorry, Kipper, I saw your picture and thought “Pavement Pizza” in Tokyo.

Fumi curry, San Francisco ca - I used to eat here a couple or more times a week for my luncheon. Then I stopped during pandemic and I’m slowly getting back - maybe biweekly or semi-monthly or so.

I keep thinking that a bowl of cereal could be very nice for my own supper. We have several good boxes of cereal plus good organic whole milk. And organic fruit which is fun for cereal.
But don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a chocolate bar once in awhile! |
I used to eat a couple of bowls of cereal for dinner once every week or two. It's been many years. Now, sometimes a bowl for a late night snack. Always raisin bran, granola, or similar. Something with different textures, and slightly sweet.
If forced to eat a "plain" unsweetened cereal, it would be corn flakes or bran flakes I suppose. I ate cold cereal for breakfast at least 6 days a week from my earliest memory until I had my own place at 20. I've been a hot breakfast guy ever since. |

Oh Raisin Bran! That was one of my favorite cereals! I liked getting the hints of sweet and chewy raisin among the crunchy flakes! Yeah I'm weird like that.
I like eating cereal as a snack, for a meal, whenever and wherever (no this is not W Hotels)! 2nd place for me: Special K with red berries. Worst cereal: Cracklin Oat Bran. aka Colon Blow. That slop gave me the trots for a full day. Guilty pleasure cereal: Cap’n Crunch Berries. Every now and then I purchase a box of this or Apple Jacks. |
breakfast... cranberry turkey burger patties with melted mozzarella on a bed of mixed greens
|
Greek yogurt and Starbucks for breakfast
Today at the company cafeteria was sushi day so I got a roll (shrimp tempura, crab, avocado, kewpie) and a cup of soup (tomato barley), and a fizzy water. It's my first time working at a place with an employee cafeteria. They subsidize it so it's really cheap (except the sushi, which they bring in from a restaurant). Fuji apple snack |

I’m also a cereal lover. My favorite is Corn Flakes…with a sliced banana, light amount of sugar and a little milk. Mrs PhillyGold likes to drown her cereal in a ton of milk. Yuck.

What a difference the wrong can of tomatoes makes. My intention was to make a clear broth soup, but I bought crushed tomatoes and not diced. What I ended up with was making a pasta sauce instead.
