Sunday morning breakfast of champions.

I hope you’re not selected for a random drug test. Look at all those poppy seeds!

Speaking of poppy seeds, there is a restaurant in Phoenix ( a few locations) that has the most wonderful butterscotch bread pudding. We took friends there a few nights ago and there were poppy seeds in the bread pudding. What a disappointment. I don't know whether they had leftover bread or bagels with poppyseeds or they just threw them in on a lark, but it wrecked the dessert. (And I don't generally mind poppy seeds and I like poppy seed bagels.)

Breakfast: oatmeal and honeydew
Lunch: chicken noodle soup (nothing special) and a McIntosh apple
Snack: cantaloupe with sour cream

Dinner tonight will be turkey burgers. I have to go pick up some produce so it will be accompanied with a vegetable of some sort.
EDIT: I have an idea to make heart of palm pasta with a can of Rotel or maybe a real tomato sauce (or both). So that may be happening. I just don't want to do anything big tonight.

No photos but I made the hearts of palm pasta with Rotel, Simply Ragu, and corn. It is an interesting sauce but the entire thing is under 450 calories and should last me 2-3 days.

Treated myself to a pint (yes a pint!) of Nick's "Swedish Choklad" ice cream. The entire thing was 240 calories! After a bit of a wild week I am getting back on track.

In a rush earlier. Grabbed some Ritz crackers and added peanut butter for lunch.

Eggless baking #4, a pumpkin muffin recipe tripled and scooped into my loaf pan. Very spicy, not too sweet, moist, and good fluffiness. Egg substitutes: canned pumpkin and vinegar.

PS - The canned pumpkin best by date was 2015 and the can was dented. I had baking aspirations in olden times. 😁
