great...I love mood drops but the rare and elusive gum drop ones are even better. It seems that the moon drops don't last as long as regular grapes.

The guy we were with was a friend of the restaurant.
It's no Sparks or Keens... but it was damn good.
Easily the best meal of 2021.

And they’re the winner of the #1 Seakhouse of NYC in 2021, too! ;)

.. this was our menu tonight:

Iceberg Wedge Salad, Tomato, Blue Cheese and Canadian Bacon
Sizzling Canadian Bacon (Extra Thick by the Slice)

Grilled Norwegian Salmon Fillet (half/shared)
Grilled Yellowfin Tuna (half/shared)
Porterhouse steak (yes I had some :o)
Creamed spinach
Roasted potatoes

Tiramisu, lemon cheesecake, warm orange butter cake, mixed berries (all on the house)

I think there were two martinis in there somewhere. One had blue cheese-stuffed olives... I could have just eaten those for dinner. We also had two bottles of Caymus 2016.

Must visit the Royal 35 Steakhouse on our next NYC stop ! Desserts there seem decent enough too & glad all on the house for GW McLintock ‘ s dinner ( try always for FTers ;) ? ; perhaps a Pre / Post Do venue ?? ) !!

Posting here instead of “ What's for dinner? “ thread .

Also had fruits , blueberries , jackfruit , papaya , pineapple , rock melon , water melon and pear for breakfast , lunch & dinner besides what you see below .

Breakfast : scrambled eggs and bacon with the usual various iced liquids . Taste tested of panettone baked by a friend , similar to some from Italy .. good enough for a fund raiser CHRISTmas project .
Lunch included mee rebus and broccoli .
The sugar overload continues with some you see below .

Today Yesterday I have been eating...

Leftover salad with chicken and brown rice
Cucumber
More salad with chicken
Even more salad with chicken
Lamb gyro pita

Don't think the lamb agreed with me. Not very hungry today so far.

Green grapes. The last two purchases have been outstanding: crunchy and sweet.

Lunch: leftover sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna, carrots with Russian dressing with whole grain mustard

I think it is Nissin Top Ramen. I used Herb-Ox no-sodium chicken bouillon instead of the included packet.

Earlier today afternoon snack... bowl of corn flakes. :)

GW McLintock Oct 25, 2021 9:26 pm

Dinner tonight was the leftover salmon and a bowl of chicken noodle soup, followed by some honeydew.

Went to the supermarket tonight to stock up before the rain hits. Just got some produce (cucumbers, carrots, apples), and some Campbell's chunky soup and a giant jar of Vlasic pickles that were on sale.
