Lunch: ham and cheese on part of a Cuban loaf with garlic pickles and spicy garlic mustard.

lunch... 1 spicy tuna roll, cauliflower, and a bowl of corn flakes

Cleaned up the firdge and whatever I could find I used to make these two dishes that go together for lunch:
Cold cuts and cheese pizza
Dipping sauce for the pizza (onions, galic, shallots, EVO, anchovies, eggplants, green onions, mushrooms, tomato sauce, etc.)

my first time at cheeseboard in years, maybe over a dozen years since I was last there? No idea. Also popped into Chez Panisse to see their carryout menu - I still haven’t eaten there.

I used to buy Costco pizza regularly. I stopped when they discontinued the combo.

gorgeous. What else is in the chicken besides red pepper paste, sesame seed, and scallion?

My son makes the sauce for the Korean BBQ Chicken or Dak Bulgogi. There are many online recipes but he got his from his favorite, Bonchon Chicken. So basically the ingredients could be the following in addition to the fermented red pepper paste:

Sesame Oil
Soy Sauce
Ketchup
Spices: Cumin, Garlic Powder, Paprika and Ground Ginger.
Sriracha
Rice Wine Vinegar
Brown Sugar or Honey
Chicken Broth
Cornstarch
Salt and Pepper as needed

thank you - I get a similar paste at Safeway although I could actually just drive to one of the korean or Asian grocers to buy it there. I love this sauce. Just gotta be mindful of sodium the way I’m mindful of sugar money steps music work books chores etc

I've only had Costco pizza a handful of times and didn't know they discontinued the combo. I thought it was strange my dad brought 1/2 cheese + 1/2 pepperoni. That explains it. That was the first time I'd ever seen a half and half Costco pizza too.

Naked sweet and sour chicken, without all that fried breading and red food coloring. I got a free can of pineapple from my local grocery store ages ago, probably 2-3 years ago, have been meaning to use it, and finally remembered. The best by date was coincidentally Oct 31 2021.
