Not quite. Dead horse is rhyming slang for (tomato) sauce/ketchup. A dog's eye would be rhyming slang for pie, or if it's a service station pie of unknown provenance "rat's coffin." ;)

Purple rice (!!!!!) - half forbidden and half white rice. Next time I’ll use less forbidden only because it’s expensive.
Chinese lob Cheung sausage
sautéed bok choy, tofu, and mushrooms in olive oil, hot sesame oil, and black bean paste sauce

Salad

My 8 year old is on Spring break. I made a salad, and she read the crouton bag that I got at Costco last week, and she decided to make a fancy romaine salad.

Italian Mortadella di cavallo is made from horsemeat - most famously in Albano Laziale in Lazio (Rome's region). I heard they use horsemeat imported from north Africa (Tunis)!

Gorgeous. In the spirit of what some posters relentlessly ask me, where are the vegetables?

and tomato sauce??

I still have pizza dough that I could use for my luncheon but I’ll hope it stays ok in the fridge until Thursday.

Great minds do think alike! Baked chicken for me too, topped with pan gravy and rice. All leftover from dinner last night.

Light tomato sauce but generous portion of olive tapenade under the cheese with plenty EVO!
