blueberry pancakes - my first time both making and eating them at home. So happier!!! Eventually I’ll stop using box pancake mixes and I’ll ask for pancake guidance lol
Trader Joe’s chocolate croissant - warm from oven - warm is still best. Much better than the $5.50 from Arsicault which just isn’t oven warm. I’m not going to make croissants. I took a bakery tour / class in Paris in 2007 and loved that morning and I’m still not going to make my own.

I agree that a bowl of cornflakes is pretty dull, but I enjoy them!

BTW, Trader Joe has a dill pickle mustard which I have tried and it is very good. They also have a Pale Ale mustard but I haven't tried that one yet.

Breakfast: BLT on toasted sourdough and with farmer's market fresh beefsteak tomato. Whoever invented the BLT is my hero.

We found a dill pickle mustard we loved at Publix sometime this year and of course it has since disappeared. We also enjoy the line of Sierra Nevada mustards which naturally are made with beer. We are both mustard fans but not on the same level of some I have known. I once went to a meeting at someone’s house. When I went to the refrigerator for something, I discovered shelves of mustard, possibly 50 or more jars. I can’t help but feel some of that was eventually wasted.

I’m about to run out of this one and don’t remember where I bought it.

Two o’clock brunch. My plan was to do Mexican spiced rice stuffed peppers, but I couldn’t decide how to do them and ultimately took the easiest path by toaster oven roasting the chicken and vegetables at the same time.

Amazon has it in and
six six
packs. Walmart has two and six packs (sorry, the links for the Walmart pages got corrupted when posting, but it's more expensive than at Amazon).

Poutine lunch! We drove to the Laurentiens to see the fall colors and stopped for a bite. My Quebecer husband is a purist and will order so-called authentic poutine in the states only to complain about everything that's wrong with it, but he was happy with this one!

Columbus Georgia. Red Robin. Hamburger with whiskey river bbq sauce and onion straws. Unlimited steak fries. I tried ordering the grilled chicken version and they are out of grilled chicken due to supplier shortages.
