Thanks - I thought I took the photograph correctly and it was yummy.
I was planning to cook Rao’s supper and mentioned it to my spouse in the pool. I mentioned my plans to grill chicken for tonight, using “BrazilLover” method. Instead my spouse mentioned Fish. for post-pool. And I forgot how we got invited to an event tonight at PayPal park so we will just eat at the event. I’ll try to grill the thighs on Sunday or Monday night and agreed that we are dining out more than during the pandemic. Im still trying to not dine out as much as we did pre pandemic. Of course our upcoming ORD trip will mean all carryout and dine-in meals since our child will have full vax (we got it yesterday, partly the Fish. dining decision - not that any reason is given in spite of the pricing.

Headed to Moulin after Sunday service and burned my AMEX monthly dining credit on 2 cards. Spent $38 for the below plus 4 almond croissants and getting $30 back! The cake has a Grand Marnier cream in it - delicious stuff!

Flyer EC, the bacon looks like it is raw. I am afraid to eat pork undercooked, but will eat steak rare.

Saturday was our 28th wedding anniversary, so we went to a Cuban Restaurant in North Miami with my mother and sister-in law. I need to say how much the restaurant has changed during Covid, as this was the first time we have been there in a year. The prices are the same, except the portions are much larger. So much, none of us could complete our meals. I had the Churrasco Steak with white rice and sweet plantains. My wife and mother had the Palomilla steak with black beans, rice and plantains. Finally, my SIL had the Fried Snapper with black beans, rice, plantains, and a salad that mainly consisted of onions, lettuce and tomato with a vinaigrette dressing (she doesn't eat meat, just fish).

The mood was a little down as one of the long time servers is missing in the building collapse in Surfside, so in their banquet hall portion of the restaurant, there is a memorial set up so people can come, pray, and offer support to all the victims.

Today for dinner, I made Farfalle pasta with white clam sauce. My wife could only finish half of a 7 inch paper plate serving.

Actually eat my food well done , but steaks more medium well . Hardly have sashimi unless it is the roe or wild salmon .
That bacon was cooked but definitely not the crispy brown which is my preference . Already sent the breakfast back once as I had requested scrambled eggs .. annoyingly it came back as what you saw in the photos . At least the no sausages bit & more bacon was correct . The kitchen only had one cook , will not even call him a chef . More came in as the morning wore on ..Really understaffed till later .

The previous morning too when the thunderstorm caused the siren to go off & curtailed all golfers ‘ flights & the golfers converged ( some had to hang around else where - think only allowed in certain areas due to the dress code ) .
The robot “ waiter “ was activated as even the larger team of waiters & waitresses could not cope . Talking about server shortages coupled with only 2 diners permitted per table including no mingling between tables . Can you imagine enforcing such among golfers ⁉️
What a zoo it was Saturday breakfast / brunch .. beverage orders were all mixed up , even though the others do not have my range as you see in the other thread ;) .

2:45p leftover comfort food luncheon after walking home from work and periodically crossing the street or walking off the sidewalk to avoid the tents and tarps. Kids don’t do this at night.

delfina pizzeria from 6/19 Saturday:
clam pizza
fried chicken wings

gillman, Oakdale from 6/24 thursday:
teriyaki chicken sandwich (looks like chicken tenders with pineapples - I’ll add Korean chili sauce)

omg I’m so hungry.

more chicken for dinner - grilled thighs ala Brazil lover - 40 minutes on grill with 4-5 turns.

Corned beef hash & eggs with toasted baguette
I had recently removed my final frozen corned beef from March to my fridge. There’s yes way I would have cooked the corned beef AND then made my beloved corned beef hash without you beloved FlyerTalk community.

side of ketchup
side of $8 hot sauce that’s WEAKER than Tabasco - grrrrr
maybe this is why I’ve still not gotten my carryout $31 bucket of fried chicken that I’ve been talking about since February.
