gaobest Do you have a recipe for the pizza that you could share? The photos look really good!
Alas it’s Trader Joe’s dough, Rao’s pizza sauce, galbani low skim mozza from Costco, and volpi pepperoni from tj’s. Recipe prep & inspiration from J Kenzi Alt in Detroit (panic) pizza. I lost desire to try to cook pizza dough or sauce because I have more time to spend out of house. I had so many baking plans that all have ended or declined because I don’t have to stay home as we did for much of 2020. only 500 degrees for 10-12 minutes. ”… To Form the Pizza: Press down on dough with your fngertips to remove any large air bubbles. Lay half of pepperoni (if using) evenly over face of dough. Top with cheese, spreading it evenly all the way to the very edges of the pan, then add remaining pepperoni. Spoon sauce over surface in 3 even rows. (You will need only about half the sauce—save the rest for another pizza.) Transfer to oven and bake until edges are black and bubbly and exposed cheese on top is starting to lightly brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a trivet or folded kitchen towel on countertop.” |

I ordered a cheesesteak from a local place for lunch. I was highly disappointed in the roll. It was too much like regular bread and just uninspired.

Thank you. Amazon delivered a Detroit style pizza pan yesterday and I'm off to TJs for the ingredients today. Will try to post a pic of the result tonight.

Nice crust but TJs pizza sauce is pretty lame. Next time we'll use Rao's or something homemade. |
