I’ve heard about a specialty Tamale shop for the last few years, but had never tried it out. My daughter picked up a couple dozen after work, and they’re really delicious, so far. They even have some vegetarian and vegan specialties. Their corn and cornbread one was great. Their red pork was quite spicy, but had good flavor.

I’m going to try their Chicken Mole one for lunch tomorrow. These are not parking lot tamales, but pretty big 1/2 pounders. Not cheap at $38 a dozen, but they’re certainly filling!

Dinner last night: Crab-fried rice with spicy tangy Thai eggplant salad.

breakfast... large bowl of corn flakes, and a banana

Breakfast : bacon and eggs, oj, iced coffee

Lunch : $5 spicy salmon roll from Publix

Dinner (projected) : grilled lemon garlic pork loin, baked potatoes, sautéed zucchini/summer squash/sweet onion/ red bell pepper

A friend gave me some goodies from Eately so breakfast was
warm focaccia roll with olive oil and balsamic

White rice
leftover Mongolian beef
sautéed tofu, mushroom, bok choy, and cabbage with leftover thick noodles

Out fishing today. On the boat, lunch was a wrap from WaWa. Turkey, lettuce, bacon and cheddar. With an Arnold Palmer to drink.

Breakfast and lunch today were last night’s leftover beef barley soup and I decided to go meatless for dinner with garlic naan and roasted za’atar kabocha squash.

Because they're nowhere near as exotic and interesting as most others' meals here?
I agree that a bowl of cornflakes is pretty dull, but I enjoy them!
