Yesterday was my birthday, and in typical dysfunctional fashion, I didn’t hear from anyone in my family. (All live within 1 mile of me and I’ve only had a birthday with family once in the last 25 years, so it was expected.)
Doordash sent me a 50% off code a few days ago, so I treated myself to something I don’t have the ability to cook - I can’t fold a burrito to save my life - and I haven’t had a saucy burrito in probably 30 years. I finished off the second half for lunch today. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0d209601a.jpeg |

Glorified chicken (with cream of chicken soup). I haven’t made this in 30 years. |

Jealous of the clams. Are oyster prices ridiculous? Looks that way to me, but I don’t eat them so I may be out of touch. What’s that drink?
iced tea and a Bloody Mary made with Soju :-) oysters aren’t always cheap. Waterbar Sf has a $13.20/dozen happy hour special and we had Cortes Island oysters. I googled the term and a restaurant purveyor was top search result lol |

Happy birthday!!! One friend is also 9/16. She’s a stoner that eschews alcohol. Next time you’re in Sf I’ll take you two out for birthday meal and dessert. With or without dispensary. there’s Cancun which has burrito mojada and it’s near 3 different dispensaries and 3 bars with taps for beer and liquor licenses. But there are other cuisines. You can choose. Just lmk via Corky.
you can get clams ok, yes? iced tea and a Bloody Mary made with Soju :-) oysters aren’t always cheap. Waterbar Sf has a $13.20/dozen happy hour special and we had Cortes Island oysters. I googled the term and a restaurant purveyor was top search result lol |

Yes, clams are farmed about 100 miles from here and are available at fish markets, grocery stores and Italian restaurants locally. But I want to eat every clam in the world and get instantly hungry for them any time I see a picture. It’s been about 8 weeks since I had any. That’s too long. Yours looked delicious.
