Since we were in Vegas during Thanksgiving, my oldest daughter decided to have an afternoon late Thanksgiving. Some tortilla chips, with fall leaf shapes, and salsa to start.
We brought a Costco ham, and some scalloped potatoes. She did most of the heavy lifting. Pumpkin soup, green bean casserole, sliced yams, some sort of Turkey breast with stuffing inside, semi-mashed potatoes, warmed Hawaiian rolls, plus homemade pecan and pumpkin pie. We had some Martinelli’s apple cider, sone Seagrams wine coolers, and a European raspberry sweetish beer of some sort. I tried a sip, and it was ok. I’m not much of a drinker. The ham and scalloped potatoes were delicious. The pumpkin soup, yams and pecan pie were better than average. The stuffing was ok, but the turkey was a bit of a weird texture and taste. She tried pretty hard. |

Ah, I couldn't remember if it was open last time I was in T3.
… I really only do Frontera, Publican and Starbucks at ORD. Or swing past Garrett's of I need to bring a host/hostess gift.

I would love that! Unfortunately there isn't a DQ anywhere near me.

Isn't your daughter 9 or around there? I applaud her efforts! Good for her for even wanting to attempt a thanksgiving meal no matter what kind of texture and taste it was. Lol..as long as you don't have food poisoning, keep encouraging her.
I encouraged her, as she worked hard on it. |

Very dark chocolates & Peets French Roast brewed from Keurig. At this point, I may never brew coffee again. By the way, is it easier to change the parts (for lack of a better word), or just buy a new one after some time?

Breakfast will be mixed fruit (not yet).
Lunch will be the leftover fish/tofu and some salad. I need to bake chicken at some point today, and will probably have that for dinner (maybe with string beans). -J. |

Sounds right. Might have mentioned Belgium on the bottle. Looked rather like a wine bottle in size and shape.

That's probably what it was. It's typically a nice gateway to beer for non beer drinkers. I also use it when baking raspberry cheesecake and will also drizzle it on top of the cheesecake.

I guessed a lambic as well. I’ve had a number of different flavored ones; peach, black currant, apple. But they’re not all fruity. I discovered an unfruited lambic at a bar in Asheville maybe 10 years ago. I thought it was amazing. It was very late and I’d had a lot to drink. My friends tried to stop me but I took the bottle to every other patron at the bar and asked them if they’d like to try it. Most politely declined and no one offered to punch me in the head. I haven’t had that much to drink since. The following day was my most memorable hangover.

Just had a bowl of oatmeal. That should hold me over until lunch.
