None of the $0.89 Edlp that Yyz is paying. Sad! I’ll keep looking. I want to buy it at a sub-$0.99 cost. Sadly I bought a can of water chestnuts and I bloody forgot to use it today. Life is so cruel. Plus the water chestnuts also weren’t anything low on cost compared to what I buy at Safeway. Argh.

I don't understand why +/- 50cents a pound for a nice healthy vegetable matters when you spend enormous amounts of money eating out almost every day. Skip one $3 donut, and eat expensive bok choy for a month. ???????

Instant Potted Asian-inspired lemon chicken over brown rice tonight.

Pennywise, pound foolish is a phrase that comes to mind. Especially when gas is close to $5 a gallon.

i want that $0.50/lb savings like YYZ gets!!! Why can’t I have it? How else can I pay for my $3 donut if not by saving money on other things. Alas money isn’t growing on trees for me.
savings for you, and savings for you, and savings for you…
I actually really love eating bok choy. It’s that vegetable that tastes great just sautéed in olive oil and I can’t say the same for my beloved broccoli cauliflower spinach and other greens. Yet it seems so delicious for bok choy. I love it more than other Chinese green vegetables (mustard green, Chinese broccoli, pea shoots). Omg so good.

Aah, one of the negative aspects of living in San Francisco, one of the highest costs of living in the USA. You will find markups in NYC to be just as high....

I only have it about twice a year. Breakfast this morning. A sausage McMuffin with egg and hash brown from McDonalds.

Time to start your own Gofundme.

Turkey burger with dijon mustard
Light chicken noodle soup (without most of the broth, decided it's too salty)

Lunch: Progresso Beef and Vegetable soup, 1 leftover garlic knot*

* this is a wad of pizza dough, rolled in garlic and baked in a pizza oven. It sits in the stomach and expands to approximately 5X its original volume.
