Hopefully , lockdowns will be a thing of the past by then or at least with non bursting ATBs ( Air Travel Bubble ) ‼️ We can possibly do a food trail too ;) Their other outlet has pulled lamb shoulder ! The one above is shawarma style . |
A crumpet from Seattle’s The Crumpet Shop with ricotta and a squeeze of maple syrup.

I don't remember which thread had the ice cream discussion, but lunch is Ben & Jerry's cannoli ice cream. :D
|
Breakfast today was Joe’s Kansas City BBQ brisket (through Goldbelly) and a roasted potato and carrots. I thought I had the burner on low to gently heat the meat while the vegetables roasted, but I forgot to set it to the very lowest low, so the brisket was very very well done. ☹️

For breakfast I had a bowl of Kellogg's Corn flakes and milk!
(I wonder why we don't have similar "What's for breakfast" and "What's for lunch" threads to match the "What's for dinner" thread!) :) |

Had a mini school is over party for my youngest. With just my kids and current/former wife.
Served two Lou’s pizza, tacos from my favorite place, fresh baked brownies, and various yummy snacks. Ended with some Breyers ice cream. I ate a piece of slightly aged Derby Pie with my ice cream. |
Snacking on some fruits this afternoon!

My doctor asked me to try almond milk instead of the usual dairy. My wife has either Silk or Blue Diamond, regular flavor, not vanilla. This week, the Blue Diamond was on sale 2 quarts for $5.00. So I saw a version where they have a banana version, so I bought one of the two quarts. This I like versus the type my wife uses. Well yesterday, I used it with my Kellogg's Raisin Bran and gave it a different taste that I loved. I guess I found the milk to drink that my doctor prefers, at least for the short term.

Breakfast today was a couple of soft boiled eggs, toast, and bacon. And coffee.

I switched from dairy & sugar to oat milk for my morning coffee and I’ve never reversed. I ran through a 6-pack of Costco shelf-stable oat milk on my own for only morning coffee earlier this year! On my second 6-pack of the year.
