That place made it to a Guy Fieri tv show so it’s probably that Guy Fieri effect :-)

Same. I can get 2 eggs, meat, home fries, and toast for $8 at my local diner. If I travel a bit, I can get it for $6.

Some of Sunday lunch , may post more photos later
But think forgot to snap shots of the char kway teow , mee rebus and mee soto 🙁 , my parents were waiting patiently to tuck in .

Had not seen them in person for weeks , the restrictions of say at home & no more than 2 visitors a day are somewhat daunting

Road tripping home from Paso Robles, my dad and I met some other custom car people for breakfast this morning, then six hours later, stopped in Gonzales for lunch. I had biscuits and gravy because I don’t like eggy things, and I had Hong Kong crispy noodles. So much Chinese food, I have leftovers for days.

I cooked 3 slices and made home fries and eggs this morning. Easily the saltiest thing I’ve ever had. I will abstain from salt for the next week. I’m scared to take my blood pressure today.

Not as Spam-like as I expected. Softer consistency and different flavor. More hammy than spammy.

I've never heard of Treet. The company's website product page does not have the nutritional values info, but walmart does. The sodium in 2 ozs (1/6th of the can) is 20% RDA.

Looks suspiciously like Spam, but under different branding.

Looks pretty spammy after cooking too. But I think I could tell the difference by texture, if not flavor.

Must be the low sodium version. My can says 2 ounces = 33%. I probably ate 4 ounces from a 12 ounce can. Anyone who eats a whole can at one meal is consuming twice the recommended daily amount of sodium.
