They are unused refundable tickets, all less than 60 days old. In the past, if you didn't use a ticket, the residual value of it (which in the case of refundable tickets is full value) transferred to the SkyMiles account and could be used as an eCredit for the next ticket purchase.

Two days ago I reserved an Award ticket and received a notification email with the itinerary reminding me to book it within 48 hours.

I booked it yesterday, it looks like the miles have been deducted from my balance and the trip shows in My Itineraries, but the deduction doesn't show as an activity on my Activity Statement and I haven't received an email confirming my booked itinerary. Should I expect to see these shortly? I'd hate for the trip to just disappear from My Itineraries and I have no confirmation email.

Thanks

do you get an error if you email the itinerary to yourself? if it works, that would get you a confirmation email. i'm not sure why its not showing the activity though.

oh and the issue with gates being switched at times is known. it is fixed and about to go into testing. in the meantime we've changed the display of the gates to n/a so as not to confuse anyone. you can still get the gate information by clicking on the flight.

i was told that the update only handles irops but handling schedule changes is in the pipes.

this is not a bug but seemed like the best place to post it.

is there any chance a feature could be added to the account history page that would allow sorting by activity posting date instead of the normal date? i ask because when i log in to my account and notice the skymiles balance has changed the first thing i do is look at the history to see what posted and sometimes it is surprisingly difficult to find things that just posted recently but happened months ago - especially when there is a lot of partner activity to sift through

just curious, thanks

Great thank you, that worked and an email came through with the itinerary. Still missing from my account activity though - maybe because I wasn't deemed important enough for an MQM gift?

if you don't see the activity show up tomorrow then something is misbehaving.

Want to book JAX - ATL - BCN 26 Nov 09 and BCN - ATL - JAX 29 Nov. System shows C available on all legs yet after selecting flights (DL 1016, DL 114, DL 115 and DL 1001) I class is displayed for ATL - BCN and BCN - ATL. On phone w/tech support (in Jamaica (don't know if it is the island of)) and they currently don't have any answers Be nice if the ATL - BCN/BCN - ATL fare was C fare in I

This is a win-win-win situation.
A win for DL/NW Flyertalkers, a win for Delta, and a win for Flyer Talk.

I'd compliment Canarsie, except that it is a violation of the TOS to compliment the mods. So I'll just compliment DWG and DWD for turning us into a top-notch beta team.

After one hour on the phone we are now being told that because of the number of days in BCN is why only I class is available.

We are now looking at JAX - NAP. Not pleased with an overnight in CDG on the return we try booking multi-city and the system returns "No flights are operated between CDG and NAP." yet if we let the system do the booking there are flights. What gives? I don't have that much hair to loose
