Congratulations on using the wiki for this. It is full of great information and exactly what's needed in this situation. Cheers!

Thanks :). I was on for hours updating and correcting things constantly. So, it means alot to have that effort recognized. Considering I have to get up early tomorrow, it would be really helpful if others could update it in the midterm.

Anyways, thanks again for the recognition, it really means alot.

My colleagues 7am LGA-ATL flight tomorrow (8/10) is cancelled and she's been routed via BNA now.

80% chance of thunderstorms in Atlanta tomorrow. Similar forecast in NYC.

And then Wednesday/Thursday it's supposed to get stormy at MSP. Thursday into Friday doesn't look good for DTW.

DL is fortunate that weather has been good nationwide, but that luck might be running out before things are back to normal.

Has DL decided to allow UAMs to fly on tomorrow's DL flights?

Surprised you haven't tried the Escape lounge yet. It's better than any SC.

Did it today, although it's generally not very locationally convenient for my flights. One advantage of the SC is that you get updated flight status announcements when there are bad delays and you caana always check the monitors or ask if you don't trust the app and delta.dumb. Escape has airport flight monitors but I'm not sure how much I trust them on a day when every flight is full to the gills, although a SC dragon told me today that during the meltdown, DL isn't overbooking as they assume that everyone will show up for the flights they can get.

13 hours today, tomorrow, and Thursday on the phones in Res.

People very understanding...makes our jobs easier.

I did get my callback from Delta after 5.5 hours, which was only a bit beyond their maximum window estimation. Since my travel agent already had me sorted out I was in bed already and didn't hear, the automated dialer just left a message. So, phone lines still slammed.

I noticed that at least one other person was saying they were unable to rebook online. I think the degradation of online functionality is adding to the call volumes. Not sure why the web site is misbehaving, maybe the cancellations and such are putting tickets in weird states? I don't know.

I hope the phone agents are at least getting overtime pay...

My flight was cancelled today & I was re-booked on a later flight. I really didn't enjoy or plan on spending the day at the airport but sometimes situations like this can't be avoided. I also got caught in the UA power outage years ago , the UA power outage was handled so poorly I stopped flying UA. Even though today was not perfect, I have to give DL credit for handling the situation the best they could. Thank you DL for making the best out of this situation.

My itinerary disappeared from the app when I arrived at the airport around T-3. I can't retrieve it via the PNR, ticket number, or my credit card number. OLCI worked for tomorrow's flight, but I cannot see the itinerary or receipt.

Looks like they are still cancelling flights today. Saw around 90 earlier today, now it's up to 158.
Ooh and when booking through a phone agent it required quite some time and typing. Are they using some kind of backup/old system?

Original STLATL was delayed from 1600 to 1800 so after I realized it would misconnect, they rebooked to later ATLSAN which was showing a 0200 arrival! Got to STL, boards showed STLATL was xld....of course if the app or delta.com was functioning I would have saved a trip to the airport.

Rebooked to today, and even though it was a Y award, agent rebooked in F on both new flights which surprised me...not that I'm complaining but at least they were willing to book any seat they could.

Could not view reservation or check-in; only after my Dad checked-in at the airport did it reappear online this morning. First flight delayed 30+ mins but connection in SLC was 2+ hrs to begin with. We will see how today goes.

Rabidstoat Aug 10, 2016 5:23 am

After fighting to get my flight that was canceled yesterday rebooked today, I woke up to a text that my replacement flight was canceled. They rebooked me on a connecting flight with a lengthy layover. I'm trying to get it switched to a direct flight later tonight (which I fully expect to be delayed 3 or 4 hours, but I'm worried that the connecting flight just doubles my chance of cancellation). Unfortunately I have to deal with 5 hour hold times again. I'm hoping my travel agent has better luck. The web site is still broken for me when I try to do my flight change online.

So anyway, are these $200 vouchers stackable? So far I've had my outbound segment delayed four hours, and two of my return flights have been canceled. Does that mean I get $600 in vouchers automatically?

So I created this as a new meme which basically sums up the situation..... :)
