Delta computers down
 

Sitting on 1104 in HNL. Captain just told us Delta's computers are down, cannot get takeoff perf. data. Affecting all flights systemwide. No estimated time when back up.

I can't load dlnet.delta.com right now. I don't think there's been a system-wide outage in the last 4-5 years.

Same problem in ANC. None of the nightly flights are going anywhere right now. They said they have to wait for Atlanta to get things fixed.

I was trying to book a not very complex multi-city itinerary, dl.com cannot handle it and gives me an error. Also tried to check a Flight status about an hour ago and I got an error message.

I'm in Augusta right now and the GA just told the crew for our 5:15 flight that it might be awhile and they aren't letting them onboard.

In NRT, was just about to board when everything went down. Wow. This is insane. Luckily I'm not in line trying to check in or on the plane already. They boarded Manilla, Guan, and NYC right before it went down and nothing has left.

This might be the biggest IROP in a decade considering load factors are high, lots of unaccompanied minors are traveling to school, and hot weather is restricting takeoff weight at some airports. Work will be fun today.

This may over shadow the Southwest IT melt down a few weeks ago...

Stuck at RIC for 5:30a flight. No word on status. Sadly I have 11am meeting in Asheville so looks like I'm headed back to car for a long drive! Good luck all

One facet of Delta's technology came online (at least briefly) at 5:10 AM EDT. I don't know if it's still online, and I don't know if it affects on-time departures.

Oh boy -- flying into LA tomorrow on China Southern with an onward DL connection -- hope this gets sorted by tomorrow night PST!!

The Deltanet extranet login page (dlnet.delta.com) will load now, but logging in doesn't work yet. 5:30 AM EDT

Even the BBC has issued a news alert on the situation.

"Delta airlines says all flights suspended due to a system outage nationwide".

ANC gate agents are reporting that they just got an update from Atlanta that some systems are back up and that they should expect about an hour before all the systems are back up and ready for them to use.
