MSP has a line to drop bags that looks like it's two blocks long. It's 6 am here and that bank of flights is the busiest time, especially on Monday morning.

They're saying that the problem affects international flights more somehow.

Now I am sure they wish they still had IROPs agreement in place with AA. Will take at least 3-4 days for DL to fully recover from this.

Looks like the ANC gate agents just got logged back into their systems. Fingers crossed.

DL 179 AMS-PDX just departed after spending a bit over 3 hours on the tarmac according to flightstats.

Some people in AA must be laughing their collective asses off right now, karma sure bit DL in the butt on this one.

I left ATL last night, no real problems, though I had noticed some weirdness in the app that was probably unrelated (had some minor IROPS and my re-issued flights weren't showing correctly in the app). Flying back DUB-ATL on friday. kinda wishing I had booked through AF now :|

Just got to the gate at ATL, my DCA flight (first of the morning, not sure if it's a turnaround) is delayed an hour. Not a good indicator for the rest of the day.

Lines seemed to be filling up at check-in, but I usually don't travel Monday morning so I can't compare it. They do have TSA Precheck line winding around a long distance, as if they're prepping for the line to grow abnormally big, but it seemed line the normal 5 or so minutes when I went through. My mobile boarding pass on my phone did work though I didn't try to load it from the Web site, I used a screen shot. Didn't notice any problems with others, though.

And, finally, camera crews are already lining up to film Delta check-in, waiting for the inevitable collapse of society, no doubt.

A POWER OUTAGE?!?!?!?!?

Just remember a company who is supposed to keep you safe in the air does not have a cutover plan for power outages, or even BACKUP generators in their data centers.

ANC gate agents just announced the Seattle flight should start boarding in 15min. The Portland flight's gate computer is still having trouble logging in so they aren't sure when it will start boarding.

If it really is power, probably a once in a lifetime failure... Regular power went out and their automatic backup power failover malfunctioned.
