Closest I come to hurling was on a crowded seaplane skirting a summer storm on the way back to MLE. Lots of swallowing and ice water avoided a big mess......

Good news! I can get out of Sulphur tomorrow morning and not go back! A room has opened up at the Marriott Courtyard in Beaumont, so I can be less than 30 miles from the client site instead of almost 50 like I am now. And I can get out of the awful Fairfield in Sulphur after just one more night.
I never thought I'd be excited about going to Beaumont, but hey, it's better than Sulphur! |
Ah, the joys of the UA ICC. Am on hold now whilst the agent gets a supervisor to figure out how to add my BD number to the reservation. Initially, she insisted I would have to call BD to get my BD number added to a UA reservation (). She then tried to transfer me to UA MileagePlus Customer Service ().
Then I got ahold of the supervisor: Me: "My BD No. is ABCDEFGH" Supervisor: "Let me repeat that. AZXRPQGH"    |
Proud to say that I've never ralphed inflight...although today's weather might do the trick for some people.

I've got these. My only complaint is that when I fall asleep and the ear phone piece hits let's say my shoulder, pillow, etc. I get a high pitched noise. Other than that, I'm happy. I've had mine for probably a year and have held up quite well. These work especially well with an Ipod and I definitely use these all the time in place of the ac headphones. |
I've been a QC2 (I didn't like the on the ear feel of the QC3s) owner for a few years now and I absolutely love them.

I have not been paying attention. I was unaware that the domestic 2-4-1 benefit was terminating. :(
I haven't used FHR in quite some time (last time was at the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver, several years ago). I'm paid up through well into next year, so might as well bank enough points with MR to transfer at 1:1 into a useful program, and reconsider my options. |
