My IAH-FRA flight's seatmap is pretty empty and I'm tempted to move to the middle seat in the middle section but I guess I can wait until I'm in the PClub and have them move me after cofirming the plane is fairly empty.

CO's lie flat Y is pretty comfortable. It's better than UA's

Anything is better than the 32" chiropractor special.

So I have this bottle of Jager...I am not fond of it, I decided I'd look up some Jager mixers.

One sounded interesting:

I don't have any Grenadine, so I used a mix of organic blackcurrent juice and 100% cranberry juice which i just bought last night, and this mix is actually tasty!
I looks like ummm...no comment, it looks horrible. but it is a decent taste.

taking it out of a plastic cup with white sides helps, in more suitable glassware, it looks like cider...and interestingly has a 'wild cold cider' like flavor.

Mrs. Mackie woke up not feeling well at all so day 1 of our trip is scrubbed. Hopefully we'll be able to do our night in the JW Marriott Houston tomorrow for our anniversary.

There is still time to jump on board the new Airline Mogul world for the Penalty Box!

Gonna start drinking here shortly in preparation for the OSU game. I am fully decked-out in appropriate Buckeye attire already.

Nice!

I just booked a nested (?) ticket:

PHL-IAH-SEA ( SEA-IAH-RDU-EWR-SEA ) SEA-EWR for the same weekend; $193.90 + $163.20**.

Cool way to start adding to my run for Plat in 2010.

Wish I had some more travel vouchers to use .... maybe I'll get lucky this year and get some VDBs.

ETA: ** used the remains of a travel voucher that had a balance of about $14. When I input it, it came up as $100 so I lucked out!

Drinks will be flowing for me after a short nap. Just completed a touching blog post about the loss of a close friend yesterday...it is never easy, never.
