Good day, Box.

Just got back from dinner. Sigh...last night here in paradise, back to reality tomorrow. :(

Must remind myself that I'm sitting here doing nothing and getting paid to do it. I am extremely :mad: at myself for not remembering to bring my book that I'm reading.

Rumor around that ASA and Comair will put FC cabins into their CR7s. I will believe this when I see it happen.

I am flying EWR-CLT-IAH-OKC. Then driving to the DFW area as I head south to SAT!! Have fun in Texas were things are bigger and better!!

Rang in the New Year with fellow boxers in true box style!! Pam Ann was awesome last night and the balls drop did happen, even if it happened a little after midnight!! :)

Thanks Steve Gadfly and Xyzzy and the Fabolous XYZZY and additional company for making my NYE in NYC so great. It was also great to see FT Lurker, Olten Hall, and Mr & Mrs Brituchenite!! This has been the best NYE in a long time. Thanks my friends in the Box (both who I saw and those who helped make this trip happen!!)!!

Morning Box & Happy New Year!

Qu regarding "Same Day" int'l tickets & PC access: Last night (Thursday, before midnight) we were on the SEA-IAH redeye leaving at 110am Friday. Twice, people came in trying to get access to the PC with a "same day international ticket" due to an international connection after they got to IAH. The PC agent denied them access because "It's only Thursday, but your flight international flight is on Friday." Does anyone else think they should make exceptions here, or make it a "24-hr International flight" rule?

Cornbread must be made to go along with my Hoppin' John, but focusing seems to be intermittent at best, even with manually adjustments - banging back of head against wall. Need to read recipe twice, measure thrice. At this point, having this episode of 'Cooking in 2010' not appearing on failblog.org will be considered a win...

Mexican cornbread recipe complete. Baking has commenced. No "mad scientist" explosions in the kitchen have occurred. At least not yet ;)
