We are sharing the same forecast it seems, I have snow on the ground (surprised me as it got into 50's yesterday), but now more is supposed to start today and tomorrow.

Sounds like you may set a record for the number of consecutive days with snow on the ground there.

Congratulations CM!!

I am know needingto get up and get ready for the day. Meeting old HS principle at 10 am for first meeting in like two years I believe. We have been friends since I left HS (in a good way). She actually had me in as one of 3 speakers at her Middle School Dedication in 2001!!

Need to start packing up the suitecase too. BTW, was washing close at home last night and left and when I came home the carpet in the living room was soaked. No one told me the machine was not working. Parents are on vacation so I guess I will need to call and let them know what is going on. I will be gone before they return!

Yep, for snow, for sleet maybe not I remember 1.5 weeks of sleet about 13-16 years ago. snow doesn't normally last more than 24 hours here, I remember christmas two years ago it lasted about 48. Now forecast is saying another 2-4 inches accumlation, we may be able to have an entire 1.5 weeks of real SNOW accumulation.

I've only lived in current city for 10 years, the sleet was south of Waco in Jan...

Mazel Tov!

Sitting rooftop now at the hotel in Luxor, overlooking the Nile with a 500ml Stella Authentic Egyptian Lager Beer. Free Wifi is good enough that I just had a Skype call back to a client in NYC and they didn't know I wasn't in town. And our room has a view of the Nile from the balcony. Not bad at all for USD $50.

And the server I had to call the client about seems to actually be working so I'm no longer in panic mode.

Life doesn't suck so much right now. :D :D  :p

For everyone that was keeping up with "Late Night in the Box" last night, I just called the NY Times and the woman on the phone was kerfuffled about what happened as I was.

Credit for the weekend in place and 16 free weeks of home delivery. (All I asked for was credit for flubbed vacation hold)

Dear Rev. Management Lurker,

You have seats between NYC and So. Fl over New Years. You're selling them for $400 higher than other "full service" airlines (I'm not including B6 or NK for your benefit). When are you going to give?

$350/person between NY and FL is profitable for you. Wouldn't you rather make a little bit of money rather than no money and fly empty seats?

Yours in ,

belynch and The Canuck

2 random questions for the box: for the P+ threshold for next year, if you book a companion do you get "credit" for their fare? And, what if you use TravelBank credits?

When I was considering taking my bride to Florida over New Years, the cheapest flights available PHL-FLL were over $500 r/t. PHL-PBI was over $1000. For coach. On US. On routes with WN competition.

The issue was the return, as the flights down to Florida were in the $100++ one-way range. Perhaps you could persuade the school district to give the kids an extra day or two of vacation.

It's even better when he adds pictures.

There is apparently more snow in TX than here in PA. Weather is strange.

It won't be light around shopping malls between the hours of noon to 4:30 PM. I use to work between two malls and hated December because of it.

PHL - FLL 12/30 - 1/2 is $350 on US. :-:

This is the first New Years in a long time I'll not spend at Epcot. I can goto Disneyland, but being a dry park it's just not the same.

Ah, so they wised up. It was $500 when I was looking two weeks ago, before we gave up on the idea of Florida.
