Interesting article.

Must be a teacher thing. Since I have known her, my wife has slept like a teenager when she doesn't have to get up.

For MAD, the art museums are of course well worth a visit. I am told that Madrid has some of the best shoe shopping in the world, for those who are so inclined. Somewhere I have an e-mail from a friend of ours who used to work for a series of Spanish companies and spent lots of time in Madrid, and if I can find it I'll post some suggestions. I am usually working late into the evening there and have just enough time to find a place to have a couple of tapas and a beer and go to sleep.

+1 to all of the above. Day trips to Seville are supposed to be quite nice as well.

Thank you.

First night back at work, last night. Hardly any claims just tons of advanced bags that require work. We have to drag them off the carousel, look up PNRs to see if where the owners are and then drag them back to the carousels when the owners arrive. Much ado about nothing.

Of course we had one medical diverted flt..CLE-ORD-SFO customer is fine but currently in ORD.

Then the IAH-SFO red-eye was delayed 2+ hours because the aircraft arrived into IAH as a football charter, which required extra cleaning. I am assuming it was fan flight since football players are not allowed to drink (unless it's a pro flight).

1.5 hours at time and half. :td:

edit: that should be a thumbs up whoops.

The Prado museum is nice. I think the Palace Hotel is nearby and the lobby is very nice to have a tea or something.

Spanish shoes are to die for. Bring an empty suitcase. Just remember that they have very seasonal styles so if you don't like open toe sling backs (Spring line is out in the Winter) you might not enjoy the shoe shopping.

I can barely spell this morning. :D
Need more sleep.

Have to keep posting so that I don't fall asleep.

sfogate Dec 28, 2009 9:40 am

Next time you are stuck on a delayed flight (going on 2+ hours) you can get re-routed onto a :-:Alliance flight even if it's weather or ATC.

The magic code is: GG Amenities lines 113-114

edit: I did post this in the Blame thread

I am sad I didn't get a chance to fly the M11 before CO switched to *A. Now it will take more work.
