PM me if you are going to book it and don't mind the company. I need a few West Coast MR's to re-qual for plat.

Edit. Found your dates

I'm all about MRing with company, but I don't know that I'm going to book it at any time as an MR. The same fare was valid at that price and the other half and I turned it into her birfday trip.

Found an acceptable Hyatt rate for this weekend - one more FFN down.

I have one booked for Sunday. I'll need one more for the last FFN. I will be at 17 stays at end of January (8 doubled stays + 1 that Hyatt still can't figure out how to reverse.

Nope, just haven't taken down the  tree since the :rolleyes:days.

More years than not, my family takes down the Christmas tree just in time for Easter. (this, of course, means that the dead tree has to be stealthily taken out under cover of night to be put in the back of the pickup truck and spirited off in secret)

Hahaha...and I always get sad on June 21 knowing that it's all downhill from there in terms of the days getting shorter and shorter.

Just booked a new reward with my CO miles .

JFK-ICN-HKG-PVG-ICN-JFK

JFK-ICN-HKG is in F on OZ. Stop over in HKG for 2 days. HKG-PVG in C on FM and PVG-ICN-JFK on OZ in C. I really, really love the ANA tool ^

I would be VERY curious to hear about your experience with OZ (as well as anyone else who's flown them)...I'm thinking about doing the exact opposite of your first leg (so HKG-ICN-JFK) as part of a big trip next year.

The  is strong in the main forum this afternoon. I think I will take this opportunity to go get the mail. :-:

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Though my happiness is mitigated for a while because while the days get shorter, the temperature does tend to go up for a little bit.

A wise approach, IMO. After seeing two rounds of DEQMs in 2009, I think we can count on seeing at least one round in 2010. There isn't much point to booking MRs this early in the year unless there are some excellent deals.

If you want to get SQ on with those destinations, you would have to find seats on SFO-HKG and ICN-SFO unless you connect in Europe.

EWR-ICN on SQ is a no go, right?

CO's fine print is too small.

MR'ing with company is the way to go. I did one GEG gift on a CRJ-700 turn and a friend from college and I drank the plane dry.

I have a gut feeling we will see DEQMs in the spring again...which coincides with $400 MSP-Europe fares. $1600 for 100k+ EQMs is rather

Out of EWR, SQ only flies to SIN direct which is not available for reward redemption. You'd have to route via FRA (from JFK) or get on one of their flights out of SFO since LAX-SIN is also not available for reward redemptions.

It's a shame EWR-SIN isn't valid for awards...I'd love to add that line (and SIN-LAX on the return) to my map.
