Nope. Same dumb geography lesson applies in baseball as it does to football and hockey. There is some mythical line where the arguing over Mets v. Yankees stops and the blind adherence to all awful things Philthydelphia begins.

The line is somewhere a few miles north of Trenton. But it is gradual since in Princeton you will see just about an equal number of both. You can tell from watching the kids on the streets regalia shifting from one to the other as you drive south.

The way that your hockey team is going since that major deal could mean that baseball season might come for you a lot faster than you would like.

I was in fine form last night. I'm surprised no one called the cops to file a noise complaint.

The Kovalchuk acquisition being a boost to the Devils IMO can't be denied -- question is how long he stays and if the price paid is returned in the form of a playoff run or a Cup. I also think this year is not a good year to judge any team because of the Olympics.

Baseball season does not so much as arrive for me as it sits on top of my head and taunts me, like ALCO and the summer Houston sun. I've always been a passive Mets fan going back to my grandparents being Mets diehards. Maybe if they don't hold themselves together with duct tape this year I'll try watching.

The line starts there, but it dips southeast very rapidly. I don't think Monmouth County is at all a bastion of Philthydelphia sports fans, and with Comcast Xfinity the anchor around NBC's neck having pulled Philly TV stations from all of Ocean County, the tide is turning against Philly (to my unending joy) along that part of the Shore.

Except for monitor and Frannie. ^

At least I officially canceled my interest in the AUS do....and I am near enough I can come again another time my friend.

A good first MR takes preference in pecking order.

Glad I never suggested I could make it in the first place, even though I was going to try to get over there for some unofficial box beverage consumption... but alas with driving up to ABQ the week before, and needing to be going to ATL the Sunday thereof, it appears that my attempt will be a non-starter. Le sigh.

I see it's snowing in DC already. Yuck.

Time to go change a poopy* diaper.

* Poop reference of the day.

I learned a word from revenge of the nerds when I was two. It ends with hole, and I deployed that word at day care with vigor.

I was two, it's not like they thought I would remember anything.
