I'm sure this is because football season is over, the Sixers are lousy, and the Flyers are mediocre, whereas the Phils were in the World Series last year. There's only so much anyone can say about Villanova and Temple basketball.

Nope. Same dumb geography lesson applies in baseball as it does to football and hockey. There is some mythical line where the arguing over Mets v. Yankees stops and the blind adherence to all awful things Philthydelphia begins.

Yeah...that was a couple weeks ago in SEA. I was very sad. I super-glued the lens mount back in and as long as I'm willing to work in pseudo-manual exposure mode with no flash the body is OK. Obviously that isn't a good long-term solution but I'm also trying to conserve cash for more flying (and because work is less consistent right now).

Nope. It was still relatively dark out (that shot is probably .5-1.5 stops overexposed) so setting a small aperture and low ISO gave me a sufficiently long exposure. But the concept is correct - longer exposure to get the blurred water motion.

I just checked; the specs are f/8, 8 seconds at ISO 400. I (obviously) didn't handhold for that long a shot. I got it simply by using the rock wall that was there as a base to rest the camera on.

The way that your hockey team is going since that major deal could mean that baseball season might come for you a lot faster than you would like. :rolleyes:
