I am rather surprised that we have canceled our SFO-EWR flights tonight. I understand about tomorrow canceling everything but I wonder why they don't want any equipment at EWR during the storm.

Glad I'm off for the next few days.

I posted it in the other thread but the aircraft I'm scheduled for on Thursday morning arrived at EWR earlier and not going anwhere. I can see why they are doing these things for positioning reasons.

contract it out? come on crushed stone is cheap, call the guy up and say, I need 1/4 a yard and spread it on the path, or they the people that trample across YOUR sidewalk spread it around with their own feet.

Don't care if that gives many FM lines, just the thought of all those RJs (even short hops) gives me a headache.
