I've had varying experiences with breakfast certs -- never tried it at Edison. Other hotels have given them to me for everyone traveling with me, once a hotel said it was only for folks in the PLT-guest's room (you could then have 3 people in your room and 1 in the other...), and I came across a hotel last year that gives certs just for the PLT or Gold member.

Reason number 436234 why co-habitating with a Canuck is :-:.

In preparation for tomorrow's snow storm, said Canuck just called me and said "I'm going to the grocery store this afternoon. I'm going to pick-up beer, steak, toaster strudels and potatoes. Need anything else?"

Bliss. :D

What do you define as "relatively close"? The Sheraton is at Raritan Center which is on the South-east corner of Edison.

And there is nothing to do in that area, it's all industrial.

Just realized I never answered gbryan's question. I was asked how many brekkie certs I wanted at a stay there a couple weeks ago. The front desk  didn't flinch when I asked for four and gave them to some friends that weren't tagged to our ressie, but were staying there that night.

I suppose, if nothing else, it wouldn't hurt to ask. They are very lax there.

I use an iGo one http://www.amazon.com/Stowaway-Ultra.../dp/B0002OKCXE
Think I may have picked up as a woot deal

if I were looking now I'd likely go with DiNovo Mini

Logitech keyboards are too "mushy" (not German slang) for me. It's like typing on cottage cheese.

Speaking of which, I'm surprised no one else has replied to the "Continental Mater" thread. :D
