My better half commented just yesterday that she couldn't wait for summer. I admonished her immediately to bite her tongue and let the rest of us who know what is coming enjoy these increasingly short days of relief.

I always get sad on December 21. From then on, it's six months of the death star that haunts our sky growing higher and higher, until its rays can fry us all.

She's almost certainly being genuine. There's a VERY strong chance that someone who lives and works in Sanibel has never even seen snow, much less understands the impact of an actual snow storm and what happens.

Yep, you are right. I have just spoken with her again. She is in her 20's, and has never seen snow, let alone a snow storm.

She once travelled as far north as Las Vegas, but that was in July.

Sadly, she is yet to be snowed under with work at our Sanibel location (though she might claim otherwise) :)

Funny I was ouside pulling down the last of the red ribbons and thought how nice it was that the days are getting every so slightly longer, well that and the fact that we got above freezing today was a boni :-:

It certainly wouldn't hurt to see how much it would cost to do the whole thing since you're at the roof's half life point. It's the slow time of the year for roofers so you might get a good deal..

Well my HO Insurance reapair company seems to be in-line with what other roofers would charge, for a complete roof
They are at ~3400
Other rough quotes I got were 4400 and 5700

I was just looking at what airfare would be to go again this year,

belynch Jan 13, 2010 4:24 pm

aloha box from the soon to no longer be the downtown Sheraton MCO.

Of course, one really nice Sheraton in the system is leaving.

Oddly enough, the cheapest rate at my hotel tomorrow is a 'romance package' which includes champagne and a rose. That should be an awkward check-in.

Any boxers in So. Fl. tomorrow?

Just booked a new reward with my CO miles .

JFK-ICN-HKG-PVG-ICN-JFK

JFK-ICN-HKG is in F on OZ. Stop over in HKG for 2 days. HKG-PVG in C on FM and PVG-ICN-JFK on OZ in C. I really, really love the ANA tool ^
