From what I've read, it's sounds like the new rules aren't being implemented uniformly (big surprise there). Fortunately on my domestic flight last night, it was business as usual. But there are reports about varying degrees of enforcement on all sorts of routes, both domestic and international.

Of course, the new rules are totally ridiculous and won't accomplish anything except angering people and creating further financial loss for the industry as a whole. But we all knew that already.

Yep, DHS/TSA are doing a fantastic job of accomplishing one of the terrowist main objectives. It will be interesting to watch airline and IFE stocks tomorrow. Granted it is a slow trading week but that should be interesting to watch.

Also will require a corresponding increase in September 11 and federal segment taxes. :rolleyes:
