Breathtaking view.:-: Yum.

Is it just me or is hilton.com the buggiest travel site out there?

UGH. I hate it.

Have you seen the recent, "enhancements" to the Marriott site? Luckily most of the drill down pages are the same and they didn't completely break it, but the UI wrapper is godawful.

Teh GF was sent to KE F lounge.

I think delays with Turkish longhaul flights are pretty normal.

I'm not even sure what terminal TK uses at JFK, but I am surprised they use the KE lounge...

Sounds like an interesting class. I've had to do all of my operations learning on the job to this point. Fortunately, I've been able to learn from some sharp folks in our Ops organization, but at some point (ie not living out of a suitcase) I'm going to get some classes. Any good programs you know of in the Midwest?

T-Uno
I guess she could have gone to the new LH lounge:

That lounge was closed for some time while they turned into their "Flagship Lounge outside of DE"

I don't understand why everyone (re Flyertalkers) are so excited about the movie version of Up in the Air. Are there a lot of scenes with him on airplanes and in airports or something? I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book several years ago. The story focuses on the protagonist's personal struggles as a ......... whose job happens to require lots of travel, and his arbitrary goal of reaching 10 million miles before he quits/gets forced out of his job. Travel is just the backdrop, not at all a focal point; it just happens to be the setting for his douchey personal struggles. I found the book quite depressing, in fact, and have no real interest in seeing the movie.

Good to hear that there was no swap, but the delay might be even worse for me. I only have 3 hours at JFK to clear, hit the left luggage facility to swap bags and get on the DL JFK-BCN flight. I know it is going to be tight no matter what, but a delayed inbound is not something I'm keen on.

No real desire to see it either. i don't watch many movies and don't really like clooney.
