Tiffany (if you are, indeed, serious).

How about a Wii in a Tiffany blue box? I'm convinced that woman get more excited by that particular shade a blue then what is actually inside the box.

I vote Wii. I think she'd enjoy it.

I read that too quickly... I thought you said "Should I get her a will..."

Oops.

Time for a PClub drink, I do think.

Its been 5 years... so...

Yeah. Wii in a Tiffany bag. That might work.

I think if you want to make it to 6, it should be a Wii PLUS something in a little blue box :)

I got my girl the silver Tiffany bracelet with a charm for her first birthday that we were together, which was just shy of a year. She has since gotten two charms added. She adores it and shows it off due to the personalization. And yes, Tiffany Blue has a swooning effect on women. I'm worried that the engagement ring box won't be that color and a diamond just won't have the same effect. If it were me and I was living where you are, I would make a run to the flagship store and look in the bracelet case. Or, seeing as how it's 5 years, maybe she deserves studs.

I would pay to see a T&Co. bag that could handle a Wii.

They make them - they have large gift items so they've got bags that large :)

Are you insulting me, sir?

I actually got her studs a couple years ago. I've also walked down the Tiffany path, before. And, she, of course, adored it. I don't know - I don't get these types of things.

Regarding the idea to just go into the flagship store - I had her convinced for a couple years that there was a dresscode there. We'd always walk past it in our way to/from Central Park and she'd always want to go in - and I'd look her up and down and say, sorry, flip-flops. Or, sorry, mittens.

... like all good things, that came to an end. :(

Not at all! Sorry if it read as such. :o I realized in hindsight after writing the bracelet bit that maybe silver wasn't a generally precious enough choice of metal for five years.

Apologies again, and truth be told: I don't think it's the contents of the blue box either. I'm with the others: it's the blue box that sells what's in it.

It was, surprise, surprise a joke - insinuating I'm not a stud.

Sorry, my humor isn't really humor. For most people. I like to call my joke style the "Dennis Miller effect". Wherein, 2 people laugh immediately, 4 people laugh 30 minutes later, and the other 14,000 ask for a refund. :o

crickets chirping.

This seems like a great occasion for this link.

And how fitting, that this is my 1,200 post.

I would have picked up on that had it not been plural. I too am a devotee of The Ranting One, and I catch him on iTunes as often as possible. I'm also one of those guys that cause people to initially be taken back by my humor (admittedly very dark, cynical and sometimes way too weird for the room), but I usually end up winning people over. If people were turned off by my personality, I think it would be time to explore a career change.

I am thinking of breaking down and going to the BRU DO. Has anyone else purchased their tickets and if so when are you going and coming back? There appears to be flights out of EWR on CO for 50k miles r/t that allows me to go and not miss any work. Also, where do you plan on staying?

Note: the weekend before I am going to PTY (Sat-Sun) if anyone else is interested in that.
