They have flight attendants on the Beech? Or is that one of the cities that actually gets their Brasilias?
Some of my more interesting FlightMemory lines were from flights I had on Great Lakes out of DEN in 2001. |
FlightAware shows that all of the flights between DEN and EAR are in fact operated with the Brasilias.

Probably vaults where they can hide all the money that they are going to collect from the season ticket holders for the dreaded Personal Seat Licenses. I am afraid that the b*stards will try to sock me for 10 grand PSLs for each of my seats and I don't know if I am prepared to give it to them. But seriously , I forgot about that whole new fiasco. The Giants owners and execs issued statements about how the decision to implement the PSL was soo dificult to make , but it had to be done to finance the 1.6 billion Dollar stadium. A bunch of nonsense if you ask me , and I don't even have season tickets. |
Haha, no worries. Just kind of surprised, since I've never heard of an airline flying a FA around on the Beech. Every flight I've had on one had no FA, regardless of the airline.
I did fly on one Great Lakes flight on a Brasilia with a FA in 2001, on CPR-DEN. The plane was one of the most beat up looking planes I've ever flown in, and they had taken out the galley, leaving a big open space right up front. However, they couldn't be bothered to put in new wall panels where the galley was removed, so there was exposed insulation and wiring that would have once been behind the galley unit. Since there was no galley, there was obviously no service in flight. All the FA did was make a few announcements and do the safety demo, and then sit there and stare at us throughout the flight. He appeared to be in his late 60s, and told my coworker he was retired and doing this just for the fun of it. |
Just thought I would mention that the new Blue Bell Candy Jar ice cream flavor is great.

It is actually a mix, depending on the day of the week or some other factor that I cannot quite figure out.

I had a FA on a Beech between somewhere and Santa Barbara. Abbreviated service, but service nonetheless.

Where in the world did they put the jump seat?
I have no idea - I thought it a bit bizarre and was surprised to have service. Maybe she had 1a? |

Now that I think of it, I had two seats to myself, so not a Beech:) And no bump in the middle!

Ah yes, the bump in the middle of the aisle. Even better are the seats by the bump that have the wing struts under them taking up valuable foot and leg space.
Sorry meant to edit my post not reply to yours - I think I've had a bit too much champers tonight :) |

So you quit your job, packed up, and moved to HOUSTON??? If I remember correctly you followed the fiance there? What industry are you in?
Good luck with the interviews. Speaking of the interviews. They both went well. I was offered the job at one place. The paycut is significant. I'm mulling over the offer. The second interview went well, but they want to interview more candidates. So, no offer there. Houston needs an NHL team. I don't want to drive (or fly) to Dallas to see my NHL team play. The Toyota Center would be perfect for an NHL team. |
