I would have gone to the Palm if I had the time, but it doesn't fit in. And as much as I would go to breakfast at the Palm, The Mom already said no to that.

Last time I went through there, there were literally dozens of people eating donuts. They smelled amazing.

Yes. There is a Shipley's in B Terminal. Their Donuts and Kolaches are excellent.

Yes.

I'll be through there next Friday morning on the way home from LBB. I'm thinking I"ll have to stop by and get me some Shipley's. It's just one of the many things I miss about living in Houston.

The Hockey arena and the CNN center are in the same place, so that should be easy to do. There is a decent chain steak house, in the CNN center I just can't remember the name

There is a Ruth's Chris within walking distance.

But for true gourmet food in Atlanta you have to go to Buckhead or Midtown.

What is the name of that bar that is adjacent to the CNN center ?
There are more than one of it in Atlanta ( the other is in Midtown and they have a shuttle that goes back and forth), I remember going there after the SEC Championship game a 2 years ago .

Pit that it is, we do excel in unwholesome foods. I believe we are surpassed in that regard only by New Orleans.

The Palm serves breakfast?

No EUA yet on my Sunday Evening BWI-IAH flight, which is still showing A=7

That one's going to be either a 24-hour or 3-hour EUA. BWI-IAH-BWI on Sunday afternoon/evenings are quite busy and a bit elite-heavy.

I'm on an O fare. We'll see how that works out.

We are on CO 1627 on Sunday and looking at the upgrade list it looks like someone was upgraded to 2A which is a seat that I booked. Guess I'll have to call CO

Very odd. Does your res still show you in 2A?

Oh boy, this BRU Do is something that I would love to do, but don't think that I could swing it with potential travel plans only a month after it. Damn, and I've been lusting to go to Belgium for a while now.

And Dunkin Donuts is great. ^ :D

That is very odd. Though, it looks like there will be plenty of seats open up front with only 3/16 booked so far.

This weekend is the big day - huh? :)

I'm holding off on purchasing tickets for now. The price for IAH-AMS; BRU-EWR-IAH on those dates is $887 all-in at the moment. If oil keeps dropping, and as winter low season approaches, I suspect there will be lower fares offered on the route by about October. If all else fails, I'll just use miles. No way I'm paying $900 for TATL in January.

ALCO, did you just start a will I be upgraded discussion?
