For $290 I could do ABE-CLE-DAY-EWR-ABE and cross off the 135, Q200 and the bus. :D

Has anybody put that on their flightmemory? :p What model is that bus?

Looks pretty cool. I like military aircraft and all, but I'm not sure I could look at them on the ground for all that long. For me, commercial aircraft are another story but I don't think planespotting at DAY for a day would be all that exciting.

I'm shocked that The Box is trying to convince someone to go to DAY! :D

I'm helping you to help yourself. You want to cross the aircraft off, and I am providing entertainment for you as opposed to sitting in the airport and just turning around, MR-style. :D

And no, planespotting at DAY is not terribly interesting.

Almost no mainline...UA still flies there and they get rid of FLL and PBI.

To motivate you to stay off such aircraft even more than you already are.

That sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Is that wrong? :)

It actually almost seemed reasonable to me, too. If I could get it for <$250 and so that the bus segment was first, allowing me to throw away the last segment and just go home from EWR I'd probably do it.

Given that the Box is this forum's bastion of immaturity, amongst other things, I am pleased to announce that my post count is now 6969.

Why not run some dates and see if the ABE segment can be dropped? If it's not important to do the bus and get 500 EQM, still get the FM lines and the Museum trip in.

Dropped?? The whole point of having ABE in the run is to be able to try the bus and the Q200 or 135. :D

I'd like to get a routing that goes something like Bus-Q2-E35-Q4-Bus, and just drop the last bus segment. I would never book this type of deal and skip the bus completely. I am absolutely that crazy.

Exactly! Besides it's one of the most common aircraft of the last decades. 20 years from now when they aren't flying anymore you'll be kicking yourself for never getting on one.

And trust me, one flight will be more than enough. Especially if you get in a window seat.

You'll have to forgive me for not shaking your hand.
